2024 CAA Baseball Championship Matchup
RICHMOND, Va. (May 18, 2024) – The brackets for the 2024 CAA Baseball Championship have been determined and will be held May 22-25 at Brooks Field on the UNCW campus in Wilmington, North Carolina.
The six-team double-elimination tournament begins Wednesday, May 22nd, with fourth-seeded Delaware State (29-24, 16-11 CAA) facing fifth-seeded William & Mary (30-24 CAA). , 13-14). #3 Northeastern (38-15, 18-9 in CAA) takes on #6 Hofstra (23-31, 13-14 in CAA) at noon and 4 p.m.
Games will begin Thursday at 11 a.m. with an elimination match between the losers of Wednesday's contest. Top-seeded Charleston (39-12, 21-5 CAA) will play the winner of the lower seed Wednesday at 3 p.m., followed by second-seeded UNCW (36-19, 20-0 CAA) 7 losses) will face the winner of the higher seed.Winners of contests Wednesday at 7 p.m.
The tournament will feature three games on Friday and another on Saturday at 1 p.m., setting the stage for the CAA Championship Game, set for Saturday at 5 p.m.
