1943: Rise of Hydra is a new Marvel video game featuring Captain America and Black Panther

Just when you thought this week couldn't get any better, the surprise announcement of a new Marvel game brightens up the month and the rest of it. I'll dig into the reason for this in the future, but it's amazing that it's an action game that features two Avengers and was written by the same guy who worked on Uncharted.

The Epic Games conference on the state of Unreal Engine 5 at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) started with a surprise: A first look at Marvel's new game 1943: Rise of Hydra from writer and director Amy Hennigbest known for his work on the Uncharted franchise.

It features a “set” of playable characters, including Captain America and Black Panther, and is described as a “narrative action and adventure game.”
